1. What makes a site suitable for Buzzle.com's Basic Submission?
Just about any site is welcome to make a Basic Submission at Buzzle.com. Nothing illegal or illicit, no spamming and no adult sites/porn. Sites submitted that fits any of these descriptions will not be accepted.

Buzzle.com filters adult sites based upon the number of "sexual" words in it. If your site may contain sexually explicit words, but is not a porn/adult site, please check the appropriate box on the submittal form.

2. How do I make a Basic URL Submission?
To submit a link, simply select the "Suggest A Site" link at the bottom of any page within Buzzle.com. Or, from the "Suggest a Site" link within any chapter (in the leftside column). Then, complete the simple form.

Basic Submissions are free, and entail a listing with the Buzzle.com links index. Basic URLs are available by conducting a search from any page on Buzzle.com.

Buzzle.com offers a paid URL submission service, called Preferred Submissions. URLs submitted to Buzzle.com through this service receive the following benefits:

  • Special weighting in Buzzle.com search results, based upon the relevancy of the search terms used.

3. What if my site is not in the United States?
Fear not. Buzzle.com accepts sites from around the world. You and your site could be anywhere in the world and be listed with Buzzle.com.

4. Can I submit a temporary site?
No. Buzzle.com's editorial standards require that all sites we link to be fully operating and functional. Please submit your site as soon as it is up and running. If your site contains "Under Construction" portions, it may be rejected on the grounds that it is not complete.

5. Does my site need to include META information?
No, but it would be helpful. If your site does not have Meta information, be sure to completely fill out the submittal form. Your link will be rejected if the form isn't complete, especially if your site doesn't have descriptive information in the META tag. Please note the content of the site being submitted must match its META information.

6. Does it cost anything to be listed in Buzzle.com?
Buzzle.com's Basic Submission is free. Soon, Buzzle.com will offer a new service called Preferred Submission, which will offer a number of benefits not available through the Basic Submission.

7. How do I get more exposure for my site?

See Become an Author for more details.

If yours is a large site with exceptional content, please contact us directly through our Business Development Form. We would be happy to talk with you.

8. Does Buzzle.com accept submissions from redirected sites?
No. If a URL you submit is a mirror site or redirects to a different server/URL, then the link will be rejected.

9. How long does the submission process take?
It should take you no more than five minutes to fill out the URL submission form. It will take between 24 and 48 hours to process a Basic URL Submission. We are sorry, but due to the volume of URL submissions we receive, we are not able to notify you when each submission has gone through. Please check back with the site periodically to verify your link has been published.

10. Will I receive notice when my link has been processed?
Buzzle.com is not responsible for submissions made by third parties in behalf of site owners. Unfortunately, we are not able to notify everyone as to when submissions have been accepted.

Periodically, conduct an Advanced Search on Buzzle.com to see if your site has been included (enter your URL).
