Americans generally do everything big, the English think big but are in a small country. Americans in England think we're "quaint". We like to be admired.
We love American dollars, our pound stands high in exchange. We hate the income of the Euro, it is run by a bank in another country. We will wait till all the other countries in Europe try the Euro and we will keep our pound. We still drive on the left side of the road, we are a proud nation, not of our politics but of our individuality.
America strives for freedom for all individuals, English cannot help being rebels. Americans have giant jars of mayonaise, we love mayonaise.
After all, we still have the Royal Family, not because we love them so much but just because they are different!.... and Americans are fascinated by our Royal Family.
Most Americans love to listen to the English dialect, we do love to hear ourselves speak! Last but not least, we speak the same language, love intelligence, independence and bravado.
