Affleck’s Arrest Warrant

An arrest warrant was issued Saturday for Affleck’s arrest after Tara Ray, a woman claiming to have been romantically involved with the star since February 2002, told officials Affleck had "communicated threats" to her on September 25. Affleck’s publicist Ken Sunshine called the reports, "absurd." Sunshine stated that on the day the accuser says Affleck threatened her, he was at his estate in Georgia, a fact that "at least 50 paparazzi and others" can attest to.

According to Affleck’s camp, he’s "never heard of this person, he’s never met her." Ray stated that Affleck verbally threatened her over the phone on September 25 and then followed her home and physically threatened her. Even his Daredevil character couldn’t pull off being in two places at once. Ray is a current resident of Kure Beach, North Carolina. Officials in Kure Beach said they are "attempting to confirm certain information" regarding the arrest warrant. A local newspaper stated that there was no investigation and officers were not "searching" for Affleck, a fact that police stated was not entirely correct, declining to elaborate. Ray stated she was not "out for the publicity part" (oh-kay) and just "wanted it to be known in the public that he’s very capable of doing this to me."

Locals in Kure Beach claim there have been no recent visits by Affleck to their town. It remains to be seen what Ray’s deal is. Did they, in fact, know one another? Did they have a relationship? It seems Affleck has enough problems in his current relationship to be spending time making threatening phone calls! As for the status of his relationship with J. Lo, rumor has it the two are very much back together and the wedding is still on! After the fiasco a few months ago with Ben’s reported dalliance at a Vancouver strip club, it should be interesting to see how J. Lo handles his supposed relationship with another woman and his alleged threats!
