Marcia Cross Expecting
It has been confirmed that Marcia Cross is expecting her first child with her husband Tom Mahoney.

Cross’ rep confirmed the pregnancy this week and said the baby should make his or her arrival in April 2007. The Desperate Housewives star is reportedly "over the moon" according to her co-star Eva Longoria. Said Longoria, "I’m so excited for her. It’s so beautiful to see her this happy and so in love." This is the first child and marriage for both Cross, 44, and her stockbroker hubby Mahoney, 48.
Cross and Mahoney were first spotted together, sparking rumors that they were a couple, while vacationing in Deer Valley, Utah in March 2005. The two were engaged that August and tied the knot this past June. The wedding took place in front of 200 guests in San Gabriel, California at the Church of Our Savior Episcopal Parish. Instead of picking bridesmaids, Cross had seven of her friend’s children ranging in age from 3-12 perform flower girl duties and the happy couple shared their first dance to At Last.
The third season of Desperate Housewives kicks off on ABC on September 24. Cross was recently nominated for the first time for a best actress in a comedy Emmy for her portrayal of uptight Bree Van de Kamp. Cross has also claimed that she knew Mahoney was the one for her because he played word games with her the night before the Emmy nominations were announced to keep her from being nervous. She also said in an interview in April, "My favorite beauty product is my fiancé, Tom. It’s true. I think that beauty comes from being happy and connected to the people we love, and his love makes me feel beautiful."
