Suri Cruise Exists!

Couric showed off a copy of the October issue of Vanity Fair which features a picture of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and their daughter Suri. The cover shot, which was taken in July by famed photographer Annie Liebovitz, features Cruise holding Suri inside of his leather jacket while Holmes looks on. The magazine is set to hit newsstands in New York and Los Angeles on Wednesday and everywhere else on September 12 and features 22 pages of Suri pictures.

Along with the pictures Holmes gave an interview discussing her life with Cruise and her joy at being a new mom. In the interview, Holmes says the gossip surrounding her and Cruise and their relationship "eats away" at her and calls the gossip "crap" and "frustrating." Said Holmes, "And the stuff they say about Suri? You shouldn’t say that about us, and you can’t say that about my child." She does on to say, "To see how someone as caring and good as Tom is – to see how things can just get so twisted and turned around. I mean, where does it come from?"

In the interview, Holmes discusses the alleged rift between Cruise and her parents claiming there is none and that her family approves of her relationship with the mega-star. She calls Suri the "miracle of our life" and claims that they had always planned on releasing photos of her to the press "at the right time." Holmes said she was disturbed by all the press surrounding her pregnancy and relationship with Cruise, but said it was worth it all to have Suri. Said Holmes, "The moment the doctor handed me Suri I was just ready. The feeling is indescribable. All I can say is the moment I looked in her eyes I felt like…Mom."
