Ronaldinho to Play Against Wales

Ronaldinho will be in the starting line-up for Brazil tomorrow when they take on Wales in an international friendly at White Hart Lane.

New Brazil coach Dunga has confirmed the Fifa world player of the year will feature from the start as they play their second match in London in two days. Ronaldinho did not appear in Sunday's 3-0 victory over Argentina at the Emirates Stadium but is set to line up against the likes of Craig Bellamy and Ryan Giggs.

Dunga has a full squad to choose from and Ronaldinho will join Kaka, Robinho and Gilberto Silva in the side, with others likely to make an appearance as substitutes. "Ronaldinho was disappointed not to be able to feature in the match against Argentina, but I am pleased to announce he is now fit and will play in tomorrow night's match against Wales," said Dunga.

"The Brazil football team has come to London - one of the footballing capitals of the world - to play great football, and Ronaldinho wants to be a part of that and will start tomorrow."

The match against the Brazilians gives Wales's players the opportunity to tackle the some of the world's best and it would appeare that rumours of Welsh stars being rested for the game are unfounded. "We have assembled a fantastic squad, and it will be great to see the likes of Bellamy and Giggs going up against the might of Brazil - it is set to be a real showcase of their talents," said David Collins, the Football Association of Wales's secretary general.
