Anti-US Alliance: Euro-Ecologists and Islamic Extremists on Katrina

A new Holy Alliance has been revealed in the aftermath of the Katrina disaster in New Orleans and the southern states in general. At a moment, when all humans and humanists should ruminate on the fragility of the human nature (as in an excellent editorial of the Times: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,542-1761042,00.html), a paradoxical criticism mixed with satisfaction with the other’s destruction came from both, the German Environmental Minister, Juergen Trittin, and the (unknown to the world of Education and Culture) Director of the ‘Research Center’ (sic!) of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Religious Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Youssef Al Malaifi. The event is very illustrative of the reasons of the European reluctance to fight against Islamic Terrorism, but a certain focus on the issue may help numerous European stand up against the disgrace of parts of the European political establishment.

This inadequate comment is what would correspond to the German Environmental Minister’s ironical statement about Katrina. With the difference that in the case of Katrina we are faced with thousands of dead people!

Herr Trittin unleashed a thunder of American indignation for having made a link between the tragic hurricane and the environmental policies and practices of America and President Bush personally. In what will probably be his life’s worst calculated timing, the ferocious 51-year old, Gruen journalist and Bundestag parliamentarian had the nerves to quickly come up with an editorial about Global Warming and Katrina.

He went up to accusing President Bush for "closing his eyes" to the dangers of an apocalyptic environmental collapse, and to add much of lowly modernity to his draft, he started with a sarcastic line "Recently in the theaters, now in real life", comparing Katrina sceneries to Roland Emmerich's Hollywood blockbuster "The Day after Tomorrow".

Herr Juergen Trittin seems totally oblivious of History and Natural Sciences, being engulfed in his highly ideologized but totally aberrational assumptions.

Natural disasters existed always irrespective of the world’s technological development

The past of our modern academic scholarship is rather short, very short. At its best, it does not go back beyond Descartes, Paracelsus, and the Humanists of Renaissance. Humanity, as generator of complex and sophisticated Civilization, does not go beyond Mesopotamian urbanism at the middle of the 4th millennium BCE.

Many atrocious hurricanes, volcano eruptions and earthquakes occurred in the span of the last 5500 years, and it is not the Industrial Revolution and pollution caused over the past 100 – 200 years that was their cause. And even more terrible natural disasters had happened earlier involving the Ice Ages (indicatively: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_age), and the eradication of the dinosaurs to name but a few.

An excellent article by Horst Rademacher in the Frankfurter Allgemeine (http://www.faz.net/s/Rub37C970FE461547E9A9324B07F9B38584/Doc~E070FBE99F0174C1C92D3F5BDDD2C3B54~ATpl~Ecommon~Scontent.html) reminds us that the Mayas called the hurricanes ‘Hurukan’, and we got the term from them. H. Rademacher adds that a leading Natural Scientist, Dr. Kam-biu Liu of the Louisiana State University, searching in geographical strata, concluded that the Gulf of Mexico for almost 2500 years (1400 BCE – 1000 CE) was visited by hurricanes three to five times more often than in our times.

A last example is the story of Galveston, a Texan harbor that faced the same destiny as New Orleans now; on the 8th of September 1900 erased Galveston from the map, leaving 6000 people dead and the flooded harbor in ruins. To what degree was that hurricane due to pollution due to the Industrial Revolution?

American readers reacted to Herr Trittin’s editorial, flooding European and German magazines’ websites with angry comments, but the major issue is not the bad timing or the impertinence of the comments.

European politicians and journalists seem unable for objective reporting.

Without explaining why the European aid needed several days to be announced and offered, Le Monde published an article under the title ‘After Katrina, the world stretches out a hand of help to humiliated America’! The French newspaper reports among the rest the reactions of …. Fidel Castro, and Hugo Chavez!

In what sense was Katrina something humiliating America? If a hurricane of the same dimensions destroyed Marseille, Odessa or Hamburg, would the French, the Ukrainians and the Germans react in a prompter and better way so that they would not be ‘humiliated’? How proper is it to express such complexes of inferiority at the moment of a natural disaster?

Euro-ecological and Islamic Terrorist Cassandras

However, a much less noted dimension of Herr Trittin depressive and disreputable article is the prophetic and apocalyptic statement that, if the American administration maintains the present stance on Global Warming and rejects the Kyoto Protocol, America and Europe will be met with hurricanes like Katrina, and even worse!

For a European Minister an easy and convenient ‘catastrophology’ is not permissible. And this is so because this is precisely the approach of Islamic Extremism.

Expressing greater joy and indescribable satisfaction, uneducated and fanaticized masses from Algeria to Pakistan and from Egypt to Indonesia interpreted the event as Divine Punishment of America ‘for what it has done in Afghanistan, Palestine, and Iraq’!

Heralding ecological disasters of unprecedented dimensions, hysterical and paranoid sheikhs galvanized their illiterate followers – by means of Khutbah (sermon before the Friday prayer) – and stipulated that the time of their victory is approaching, that Mahdi (the Islamic Messiah) and Prophet Jesus will soon come to fight against the forces of Masih al Dejjal (the Islamic Anti-Christ), represented by America, Israel, the Jews, Zionism and Europe. America and Europe will become enslaved to the Muslim fighters, according to these sheikhs of Satanic Hatred.

They explained that Katrina shows ‘God’s engagement’ in favor of the Islamic terrorist groups (Mujahiddin) in their terrorist struggle (erroneously called ‘Jihad’ because their struggle is absolutely anti-Islamic).

Quite indicatively, the Kuwaiti newspaper Al Siyassa published an article written by the hand of a high-ranking official of the Islamic Terrorism, Muhammad Youssef Al Malaifi, who is the Director of the ‘Research Center’ (sic!) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the (considered as liberated) Kuwait that meanwhile has become a real terrorist den. In his article of Satanic and purely anti-Islamic inspiration, this ideological terrorist, who still circulates free, specifies "the Terrorist Katrina is a soldier of God, but not a member of Al Qaeda". He goes on characterizing Katrina as ‘good terrorist’ at the service of Divine Will!

The extremist and terrorist nature – full of anti-human Hatred and malignant perversity – of Muhammad Youssef Al Malaifi’s text is obvious. It corresponds to the venom of many threads and postings that can be noticed in several extremist fora.

Demand the Demission of the Terrorist Muhammad Youssef Al Malaifi

In the light of parallel excerpts like ‘Katrina is a soldier sent by God to fight alongside with us! Let’s congratulate the Mujahiddin! Soldier Katrina joined forces with us to combat America! Allah u Akbar! Soldiers of God, Katrina Hurricane demolished America’, the demission of Muhammad Youssef Al Malaifi must be immediately demanded by the American Ambassador in Kuwait, and in an expression of solidarity with the affected populations of the American South, by all the Ambassadors of Civilized Countries in Kuwait.

While the terrorist Muhammad Youssef Al Malaif will have to explain to an International Court why he fomented such Hatred against the Mankind, at this moment of sorrow and distress, we have all to express our unity with and sympathy for the afflicted Americans.
