Bachelor Bob’s Reality

Bachelor Bob and Budig, who portrays "Greenlee" on All My Children, are in talks to star in their own reality show. The show would follow the two as newlyweds. According to a source, "It tracks their lives as Bob juggles a music career and being a married man." If the show gets the green light, it is set for a late 2005 debut. Oh goody!

Guiney first appeared on a reality show when he competed with 24 other hopefuls vying for Bachelorette Trista Rehn’s heart. Guiney, 40 pounds heavier at the time, didn’t win Trista’s heart, but he did win the hearts of women all over America. So much so that he was named the next "bachelor." He shed the extra weight and wooed 25 bachelorettes before giving a promise ring to Estella Gardinier. He kept up appearances with Gardinier for as long as he was contractually obligated to and ended the relationship over the telephone shortly after the two attended the December 10 wedding of Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter. Guiney had already met Budig when she hosted Bachelor XYZ, a wrap-up show for The Bachelor. There have been reports that they started their relationship as early as November, but had to keep it under wraps due to the show. The two went public in January, a few weeks after his break-up with Gardinier.

The two were married on July 3^rd in a small ceremony at his parent’s home in Hale, Michigan. The ceremony took place outdoors by the lake and was followed by a barbecue reception. This is actually the second marriage go round for both Guiney and Budig. Hopefully this one will work out better for them both. If we are to be so lucky we will get to see them on a weekly basis as they navigate the beginning of their marriage. The poor man’s Nick & Jessica. Can Bob & Becky be as exciting? Doubtful!
