Are they or aren’t they…getting married that is…has been the question on everyone’s minds these days. Reportedly the weekend of their supposed and much hyped nuptials turned out much differently than anticipated. A source close to Affleck’s camp "confirms" that Affleck broke off the relationship leaving Lopez "devastated" and "in tears." It started with their joint statement saying that they were postponing the wedding due to too much "pressure." Too much pressure? Who invited that?

If in fact they have split, one has to question what was really behind the break-up. According to some sources, Ben’s mother Chris is behind the unraveling. She reportedly had question as to whether Jennifer was the one for him. Sources say she asked him to really think about it and whether or not Jennifer is "really the sort of woman he envisions himself married to and having kids [with]?’ Other speculations include the infamous pre-nup that J. Lo wanted B. Diddy to sign. Sources say that was the beginning of the end for the two.

There has been no official confirmation of the break-up, but their supposed wedding weekend was spent far away from one another. Lopez escaped to Miami to be near friends to help her deal with the break-up, while Ben headed off to Las Vegas. He was seen living it up poolside and hitting the tables, a mysterious brunette close by. Maybe despite their united front after the Canadian strip joint incident, Affleck suffered privately for his actions. And that can get old…quickly! Seems maybe Ben decided he wanted to be Ben Affleck and not Mr. Lopez. If in fact the two have split…welcome home Ben! Who knows maybe this is just a ploy to thwart the media so they really can get married in peace!
