Avalanche Retains Its Magic Rush
Chevy’s redesigned version of Avalanche delivers a refined driving experience plus luxurious features. The modifications made to the newest Avalanche were incorporated so as to effectuate better performance and feel.
The magic rush is settled on Avalanche. In its redesigned version, Avalanche offers an overhauled version of its predecessor. Said overhauling is part and parcel of General Motors’ full size truck platform revamp. Further, Chevrolet Suburban SUV up to GMC Sierra pickup were redesigned and upgraded to make the 2007 Chevrolet lineup more appealing and remarkable.
A number of vehicle experts are saying that the all-new Avalanche is weighed down by several low technology components. Nonetheless, there is a greater number of experts who concur to its refined ride, improved design and striking luxury features.
It can be remembered that Avalanche started off as General Motors’ solution to the forced swapping between pickup truck bed space and cab space. Crew cab pickups became mainstream in the year 2000. Its functionality as well as its liberating effect which is affected by roomy, four-door cabins seemed to lose its allure. This is because of the new-found need for a shorter yet significant vehicle. To attend to this need, Chevrolet introduced the trick midgate that folded down to lengthen the bed into the cab, efficiently transforming a short-bed crew cab into a long-bed regular cab.
2007 Chevrolet Avalanche comes in three trim levels - LS, LT and LTZ. Each of them can be equipped with rear- or four-wheel drive. Avalanche LT comes in LT1, LT2 and LT3 options with ascending levels of luxury.
To put emphasis on the redesigning of Avalanche, Chevrolet shunned its old body cladding. It is replaced with integrated rocker panels and bumper. Its façade bears a resemblance to 2007 Tahoe because of its headlights and grille. Now, Avalanche is made more rugged yet refined.
Despite its redesign, Avalanche has retained its key elements including the triangular pillars descending from the cab's C-pillars to its bed and its length, which is almost the same as its predecessor.
Avalanche magic rush can also be triggered by its added features that include power windows, power door locks and keyless entry, power driver's seat and steering-wheel audio controls for a highly comfy ride.
