Matt Damon Engaged To Luciana Barroso
Matt Damon’s publicist confirmed Monday that the actor has popped the big question to Luciana Barroso, his girlfriend of the past two years.

Sorry ladies, seems like another one bites the dust. Actor Matt Damon has reportedly followed in his buddy Ben Affleck’s footsteps and has proposed to longtime girlfriend Luciana Barroso. Of course she said yes. Damon’s spokeswoman said the Good Will Hunting star asked the Argentine-born beauty to marry him shortly before Labor Day and presented her with a "beautiful big diamond ring." Not only will he get a bride, he will become a stepfather to six-year old Alexa, Barroso’s daughter from a previous relationship.
This marks the second time that Damon has been engaged. He was engaged to Affleck’s former personal assistant, Odessa Whitmire. The two dated for three years before splitting two years ago. Damon has been linked to a number of beauties, including Minnie Driver, Clair Danes, and Winona Ryder. Barroso, 29, is a former bartender who is currently working as an interior designer. She has been a steady in Damon’s life since they began dating two years ago and was by his side in Europe during the filming of Ocean’s Twelve. She has also traveled with him to his native Boston to meet his family and friends.
Damon recently admitted he is itching to start a family. He said watching his nephews grow up has been "fun." In a recent interview, Damon said, "I am definitely a little broody. I definitely want kids. I don’t know when, but I do know its something I want." No official word on when the nuptials will take place, but surely they can enjoy practicing for the family part.
