Tracey Gold’s DUI Bust
Growing Pains actress Tracey Gold seems to be going through some growing pains of her own after being arrested for a felony count DUI.
Gold, 35, was driving with her hubby Roby Marshall, 39, and their three young children just after midnight on September 3 when she lost control of her GMC Yukon, swerved off the road, rolled over, and tumbled down an embankment. California Highway Patrol spokesperson Steve Reid said, "She lost control of her car, which swerved to the right, ran off the freeway, overturned, and eventually came to rest on its wheels."
Gold and her four-month old son Aiden were not injured in the accident, but her husband and two older kids suffered bodily harm. Marshall suffered a neck injury, their seven-year old son Sage broke his clavicle, and their five-year-old, Bailey, sustained minor cuts and a head laceration. Officers reportedly administered sobriety tests and Gold was arrested and booked for investigation of felony drunk driving. She was reportedly booked at Moorpark County Jail and posted $50,000 bond the next day.
Blair Berk, Gold’s rep, categorically denies the arrest report and the fact that anyone was injured in the accident. Berk said, "The entire case is being reinvestigated. At this time, it would be unfair to say she is accused of anything. This is a private family matter and will be treated that way." Berk calls the CHP’s reports "exaggerated" and "inaccurate." Gold, who is best known for her portrayal of Carol Seaver on Growing Pains, is set to appear in court on October 19. That’s around the time she plans to reunite with her Growing Pains co-stars Alan Thicke, Joanna Kerns, Kirk Cameron, and Jeremy Miller for an ABC two-hour TV movie, Growing Pains II: Home Equity.
