Pill Popping
In today’s age of eating right, it’s seen, that on an average, men and women tend to eat less and pop in more pills than ever!
I asked my mom as to how did she manage to keep in good shape despite raising three kids and she smiled and told me that all she did was to eat right. I wondered why with all the grease she ‘d manage to keep to her figure. At first I thought it was because she was a Scorpion, and a hyper active soul that she is, it quite possible that she burnt more calories than she had consumed to keep up a reasonably great statistic.
Later I thought that probably her constitution was such that all that she ate went on to be loaded in the right places, if you know what I mean. But then she ate right, with lots of sleep and very little stress, she manage to consume the right pills. With a little more research I realized that what she ate was not what we have, as in pills for easing hyper tension, high blood pressure, or even amnesia, she had those all important multi-vitamins and it is these vitamins which get out of our system, thanks to your horrid means of both cooking and eating, making us prone to meal replacement powders and unwanted toxins.
Ideally, when you avoid a certain important food intake, you don’t necessarily replace it with muliti’s. What you can do is have a good mix of everything in portions and proportionately and still maintain a healthy life. Ideally, as far as Allopathic medicines go, (if you are a believer in one) you need three vital multi-vitamins. The first is the all important Vitamin E, the second combines both calcium and protein and the last being the B complex. According to me these are the truly essential pills you would need in completing your all balanced diet.
There are some who believe that multi-vitamins have certain vitamins that are mixed in certain proportions, so they need to have a little of all in separate potencies.
Hypothesis
Here’s where they go wrong. Take our body for example. Our bodies are nothing but a network of pipes. If you have something stuck in somewhere, you would not come to know what’s happening in there until it reflects on your entire being. This might either be through the texture of your skin, or through the extension and accumulation of fat on your body. Most men grow with age and also bring along a constant companion, a large belly. For a time it was assumed that fat added an additional personality on to people’s overall being.
It was only until the fat caused a problem that it was realized that all of the food stuck in the stomach was all undigested, and hence the bloating. The stomach muscles have the capacity to stretch to unimaginable limits, leaving a natural platform for you to place your saucer while enjoying your cup of tea or coffee. The solution that was ultimately found out was yeast. Why yeast, well because it has the richest form of B complex. And with hectic schedules, these were formed into capsules and swallowed with the rest of the lot. In fact after pills for reduction, almost all forms of capsules became truly famous.
So along with Iron capsules, there was calcium, b complex and now Vitamin E. Although the list for enveloping pills is endless, there are many who don’t understand the serious connotations. Calcium like Iron can get deposited on your kidneys forming stones and the effects of Vitamin E could get saturated. So in this case what should you do? I suggest you take some time out, plan your week ahead and try out the natural means to get there. It might take a while to wash out the toxins released thanks to swallowing all these, but that would only happen if you had at least 4 gallons of water daily, an unfeasible solution, I must say.
A better method of getting out this rut of pills would be to time it. Give it breaks and don’t have all pills every day, and most importantly if you don’t require it, don’t have it. Medicines however great their effects are after all chemical compositions that could backfire on you. So beware of these connotations before you enter into this vicious cycle of pill popping, they might cause you, your life!
