Ben & J. Lo To Wed

Hollywood’s supercouple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have enjoyed a highly publicized romance since meeting on the set of their major box-office flop Gigli. Despite the fact that J. Lo was still married at the time, the two embarked on a quiet romance until she separated from then-second-husband Cris Judd. Once she was cleared to date, the two became inseparable. Maybe the third time’s the charm. For Lopez’s third traipse down the isle, she reportedly commissioned famed designer Vera Wang to dress her.

Despite a united public front, there have been rumors that Ben is paying privately for his actions. One has to question if these are the best possible circumstances to forge ahead with a wedding. Affleck cancelled his bachelor party after Lopez threw a fit and warned him never to make her look like a fool in the public eye again. A source said, "Jennifer warned Ben that one more slip-up and the wedding would be off." Affleck is certainly watching his step after allegedly cheating on "J-to-tha-L-O". She claims she knew what B. Diddy did, but her reaction put some doubts in the minds of even the most supportive Bennifer fans.

With Ben on such a short leash and rumors of an iron clad prenuptial agreement, why would Benny from the block even go through with the wedding. Wait awhile at least. Whatever the case, it has been "leaked" that the happy (?) couple will make it official and become Mrs. and Mr. Lopez on September 14 on a hillside estate near Santa Barbara, California. No official word from their reps, but if a wedding does actually take place, it will be interesting to see just how long the two can keep it together.
