Friends Fighting?

Rumors are abuzz in Hollyweird that there is fighting on the set of Friends this season, the 10th and final.
Word about town is that Matt LeBlanc’s ego has taken a turn for the worse. Sources close to the set say that now that LeBlanc has inked a sweet deal to reprise the role of Joey Tribiani in a Friends spin-off slated for the fall 2004 line-up he has gotten a bit too big for his britches. Sources say the tension on the set is very evident and the environment has become extremely uncomfortable. There have been complaints that LeBlanc is so focused on his upcoming solo project that he hasn’t really put his heart into the upcoming and final season.

LeBlanc was the only friend approached for a possible spin-off, which will air sometime next fall. The new show Joey will follow LeBlanc’s character as he moves to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. The fan buzz has been pretty positive since LeBlanc’s character has been the fan favorite. The rumors have already started pitting cast members against one another. Rumor has it that LeBlanc’s ego has gotten so out of control that he has taken to announcing his arrival to the set by saying, "Joey’s here!"

The other cast members don’t see the humor, and some even have hurt feelings. Apparently, David Schwimmer is so upset that he wasn’t approached for a spin-off that he doesn’t really know how to act around LeBlanc. Even though every one of the cast members is very supportive of the spin-off and LeBlanc’s career, if he is not careful and doesn’t learn to keep his ego in his pocket, he just may lose his closest friends.
