Fantasy Football: You've got to be kidding me (Week one)

Did Marshall Faulk, Ladainian Tomlinson, etc., cost you your fantasy football game this week? If so, this a weekly column for you to read.

This is the section that we love the most. Here we'll breakdown the players that cost fantasy owners their football games. If you want to voice your opinion on a player than hit us up with an email, we all want to hear you rip on a player that cost you a fantasy football game.

First off, I can't believe Joe Nedney. I ended up losing in one of my leagues by three points, thanks to him. I would have been satisfied if Tennessee wouldn't have kicked so many field goals, but Craig Hentrich kicked three of them. That should have been Nedney's nine points, and I would have won. It's just another fantasy football story to add to my list.

Quarterbacks:

Kelly Holcomb: Throughout all of last season and this preseason, Holcomb had always put up great numbers. In a game that was suppose to be a shootout, he came out and put up absolutely nothing. He might have had negative fantasy football points, with his two interceptions.

Brett Favre: If you get docked off for interceptions, I'm sure he lost the game for you. He should bounce back though.

Kurt Warner: Hopefully you don't get docked off for fumbles, because his interceptions and fumbles would have killed you. He put up a decent number of yardage points though, but just too many turnovers.

Peyton Manning: He was another disappointment, and didn't even throw any touchdown passes. Manning needs to calm down and just play his game out there. His interception at the goal line was just absolutely sickening.

Jake Plummer: I'm sure there are plenty of owners that started Plummer, and thought that he would be able to do well against the Bengals. Well, everyone was wrong, and that's bad news for Broncos fans. Did anyone notice how well Jeff Blake did, and how horrible Plummer looked? The end result though, was the usual. A Cardinals loss, and a Denver win.

Running Backs:

Ricky Williams: He did manage to get a touchdown on a nice catch and run, but that was it. William's offensive line didn't help him much, but great players are able to create on their own.

Marshall Faulk: Faulk just didn't get enough touches, and only had four total fantasy football points. That's not even close to what fantasy owners expect from him.

Ladainian Tomlinson: Tomlinson and the Chargers offense just couldn't get anything going against the Chiefs defense. He is still a top three running back.

Eddie George: He had plenty of carries and barely got over forty yards rushing. He is definitely on the down side of the career, and is going to drive fantasy owners crazy with games like this.

TJ Duckett: Wasn't Duckett supposed to split time with Warrick Dunn? It didn't happen, and probably drove you crazy if you started him.

Wide Receivers

Peerless Price: Sure he was double-teamed, but every top ten wide receiver faces a double team. Price might continue to struggle now that Brian Finneran is out for four to six weeks.

Marvin Harrison: Harrison had plenty of catches, but not the yards per average that we are use to seeing. The Browns did a great job of containing him.

Jerry Porter: Yes he was hurt, but many owners started him anyway. His big fat zero had to tick off fantasy owners.

Josh Reed: Reed was suppose to pick up some of Price's numbers, and managed to get all five yards of it. How many of you started him as your third wide receiver?

David Boston: Boston's horrible debut went awfully quiet, but we sure recognized it. The whole Chargers offense struggled, so we'll have to wait and see the real David Boston.
