It has been reported that Eddie Murphy, 44, has been seen romancing actress Robin Givens and singer Mariah Carey within days of each other. Reportedly, Murphy and his Boomerang co-star Givens were spotted looking pretty cozy last week. He then spent a romantic weekend with Mariah Carey in Miami. Late Friday night Murphy contacted Carey, 35, and asked her to meet him at a local club. Carey was in the middle of a get-together at her penthouse suite, but reportedly slipped out to spend some quality time with Murphy.
A source said that he waited outside the club, rather impatiently, waiting for the Glitter star. She turned up at around 2:30 a.m. and according to the source they "immediately started whispering into one another’s ears and nuzzling." The pair reportedly hung out and held hands for about an hour before they headed to the Hotel Setai. According to the source they waited in the car for about 15 or 20 minutes until the street was empty then they went into the hotel together.
The comedian met model Nicole Mitchell in the late 80’s, they were married in 1993 and have five children together. Murphy has a son from a previous relationship. Mitchell filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court early last month citing irreconcilable differences. Murphy’s publicist, Paul Bloch, read a statement from the actor, "The welfare of our children is our main concern and their best interest in our first priority." Mitchell has reportedly retained divorce attorney Neal Hersh and is seeking custody of the children and spousal support.
