Boxing: Champs corner

Too much Mike Tyson and other boxing tidbits.........
Mike Tyson, please go away. Why you ask???

Mike Tyson, as expected, is back in trouble with the law. He is "alleged" to have sexually assaulted a lady. I am sick of Mike Tyson, the man and the myth.

People are living in the past. Tyson best years are behind him. He is a washed up fighter now. He will not beat Lennox Lewis. He fights once a year. He may, or may not, regain the heavyweight title. He doesn't want to fight anymore. It is cruel to make him fight. He is slow, not intimidating, and his beard is not what it once was. I understand you are innocent until proven guilty in this great country, but enough is enough. Too many incidents with this man, prove otherwise. It is too coincidental that he is always involved. He is the X-factor here. Mike, please disappear........

As far as the decision in the Paulie Ayala-Clarence Adams fight goes, I would have to agree that while it was close, I would have went with Adams. I don't agree with scoring a round 10-8, unless a knockdown has occurred. At best a draw would have been acceptable. Ayala is the new "golden" boy, getting gift decisions, left and right. I think this makes it four. Top Rank and Mr. Bob Arum, strikes again. Strike two, Bob. Otherwise it was a great fight. However let's not get too excited about Wlad Klitschko. I still think he is a European stiff, who will not beat the big boys. Mark my words.........

Here is my top five pound-for-pound list:

1) Tito Trinidad (Enough said) 2) Roy Jones Jr. (Opposition is lacking, but talent is superior) 3) Oscar Delahoya (Great skills, has fought the best, regardless whether he won or not) 4) Shane Mosley (Has only fought Oscar Delahoya, needs to step it up) 5) Floyd Mayweather (Up and coming)

Well, that's it fight fans....Keep your hands up, and keep punching for the stars!!!!
