General: This week's poll

The results are in, and you have selected who you think should be the No. 1 pick in the 2001 preseason NCAA football poll. We also have next week's question ready to go. Read on for the details.
We asked you to let us know who you thought was the preseason No. 1 team in college football for the 2001 season, and you responded.

Last week's poll

With 33 percent of the vote, the University of Miami, got the nod from you the fans. Miami, you may remember, was probably one of the top two teams last year, but because of how things played out, they never got the chance to play for the Naitonal Championship. This year they return almost their entire lineup, and they should have a solid season.

The No. 2 pick in our eSports/Harris poll was Florida.

Here are the complete results.

The question was: We're getting close to NCAA football season. Who do you think should be the preseason No. 1 pick?

1. Miami 33% 2. Florida 22% 3-Tie. Florida State & Other 16% 4. Tennessee 14% 5. Oklahoma 0%

This week's poll

This week, we have another interesting question that sports fans have been talking about a lot the last few weeks and months. And it is an even "bigger" topic because it revolves around, arguably, the greatest athlete of our time -- Michael Jordan.

Here's the question: Should Michael Jordan make another comeback and play for Washington, or should he stay retired?

1. Stay retired 2. Make the comeback 3. No opinion
