More Fantasy Football Trouble for Donovan McNabb?

Fantasy Football Player News. Does recent player news negatively affect one of Fantasy Football's top three QBs?
The Eagles have confirmed that Todd Pinkston will miss the season with a ruptured Achilles' tendon. While he's not the most popular player in Philadelphia (not to mention a frequent punch line at StatLeader.com,) it's still a loss for the Eagles. The team would rather not rely so heavily on Reggie Brown and Greg Lewis, who have 23 career catches combined.

As we have discussed in previous articles, the Eagles wide receiver corps is simply one man. If Terrell Owens has an off year, gets injured, or just goes of on a T.O. self-love induced haze - Donovan McNabb won't have anyone proven worth throwing to. Reggie Brown and Greg Lewis suddenly have some value with the loss of Pinkston, as one of them may find themselves starting opposite Mr. Lovethyself.

An injury to T.O., season-ending injury to Pinkston... we currently have McNabb ranked within the top three QBs of most leagues - but that ranking might suffer as each day seems to bring more trouble for McNabb.

Does the quality of receivers matter to a top QB?
Yes, somebody has to catch the thing!
A little, but a good QB can overcome it!
No, all NFL receivers are "good enough."
