Abused Paris Hilton?

Paris Hilton was recently photographed with some unsightly accessories – a busted lip and bruised arms – but refused to name who was responsible. Since Hilton recently split from boyfriend Nick Carter, there were many reports that Carter had manhandled the heiress. It was reported last week that Hilton and her ex were seen partying together and getting along famously until Carter wanted to leave to go to another party and Hilton wanted to stay and a fight ensued.

The shocking split occurred last month after eight months together. Paris says she was getting her make-up done for a photo shoot and it hit her that she loved Nick, but needed time alone. She consulted her trusty psychic who advised her that she needed to be alone. Her reps say it was due to the fact that she is too busy. Her rep said, "Paris is busy working on her album and is starting a movie in August. She’s also working on her jewelry line and her book. She is just concentrating on her career right now. The two remain friends."

Nick’s take on the break-up was a bit different. He said, "Our relationship was based on distrust. She didn’t trust me. I didn’t trust her." Since the incriminating pictures surfaced, Nick has reportedly been repeatedly berated and accused of abusing Hilton. During a recent recording session with his Backstreet Boys bandmates, Nick reportedly burst into tears after a passer-by accused him over the alleged incident. Carter ran to his car and was photographed with his head in his hands and sobbing. Carter alleges that Hilton received the injuries during an S&M photo shoot, but Hilton refuses to confirm or deny.
