Nicole Richie & Brody Jenner: A Couple

Lionel Richie is an old friend of Jenner’s parents, songwriter Linda Thompson and Olympic runner Bruce Jenner. Said Lionel, "I was there when (Brody) was born. They grew up together. To see them together now is like, ‘Where are you going with this?’ But they’re having a wonderful time." Lionel goes on to call Jenner a "great kid." Richie and Jenner have only recently begun seeing one another. They have reportedly been seeing each other for only about a week or two.

It was reported that the two spent the weekend together in Malibu. Both Richie and Jenner are both recently single. Richie just called it quits with ex-fiancé Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein a few months ago. The two originally called off their engagement in December, but reconciled in March. They finally pulled the plug on the romance in May. Jenner just broke it off with his on-again-off-again girlfriend Kristin Cavallari of Laguna Beach fame. As for his romance with Nicole, source close to Jenner said, "He really likes her. Brody is really easy going and Kristin was very high strung. He likes that Nicole is so laid back and that she’s older and more mature."

Jenner’s mother apparently gives the thumbs up on the relationship. She said, "(Nicole) is like my godchild…She’s a darling girl, very intelligent and very together. I think they’re very cute (as a couple). Will they get married? Who knows? He’s young and so is she." Brody, 23, and Richie, 24, have been spotted all over the place together. Their romance began with casual lunches and has just progressed. A friend of the couple'’ says they "just fit together." Guess we will see how long they "fit together."
