"Feelings" by Morris Albert is the Most Helpful Song Ever!
This article gives props to the most helpful song in the world and the man who recorded it.
I'm so damn tired of people giving props to individuals like Martin Luther King Jr., Albert Einstein and Susan B. Anthony.
Those individuals did great things for society and helped alot of people but let's face it, they didn't and couldn't do half of the things that Morris Albert did!
In 1974, a young Brazilian singer/songwriter released his first album which featured the smash single, Feelings, and a legend was born.
No other recording artist in history has accomplished what Morris has.
Morris Albert's accomplishments include:
-Selling over 150 million records worldwide in 50 countries! (It's true! I'm not kidding!)
-Receiving 4 Grammy nominations in 1976! (And hasn't received any since.)
-Giving insomnia sufferers the best night's sleep they ever had!
(Playing the song, Feelings, is the world's best sleep aid. It can put an individual asleep faster than taking a bottle of Sominex sleeping pills, drinking 2 quarts of vodka, 9 glasses of hot milk and a sucker-punch to the face by Mike Tyson combined.)
-Making people like Rick Dees, who sang the top forty hit, Disco Duck and William "She Bangs" Hung from American Idol 3, look like freakin' musical geniuses.
-Having the largest number of elderly women in history throw their big-ass granny panties up on stage at his concerts virtually clobbering his closest competitors, Engelbert Humperdinck and Tom Jones.
-Recording the world's best "get-the-girl-back" song.
(Guys, if some punk-ass fool steals your woman and you want to get her back, all you have to do is slip the song, Feelings, into his CD collection. Once your ex-girlfriend finds the copy of this song, she'll run screaming back into your arms where she belongs.)
-Helping people get jobs lickety-split.
(When applying for a job, always take a portable cassette player with a copy of "Feelings" in it to group job interviews. Once in the room with all the other interviewees, switch on the tape and turn the volume up as loud as it can go. Get the hell out of the way and watch that interview room empty out at record speed. One hour later, you'll happily leave that interview room with a job and one hell of an earache.)
-Offering aid to doctors and the medical profession in countless ways.
(Alot of doctors will play the song, Feelings, for their patient's who attempt suicide by taking pills. Hearing this song automatically activates their upchuck reflex thereby bringing up the capsules they just swallowed in no time flat. Also, doctors who require their patient's who are having colonoscopies to clear themselves out often urge them to listen repeatedly to the song, Feelings, to stimulate their bowels and get the party going.)
So you see, Morris Albert is more than just a singer/songwriter.
The man is a Brazilian Mother Teresa!
And that's why every person on earth should give him props.
Here's to you Morris Albert!
Thanks for giving us the most helpful song ever!
And for those of you lucky enough to never have heard or seen the lyrics to the song, Feelings, well your luck has just ran out. Below are the lyrics to this "beautiful and timeless" hit.
FEELINGS BY MORRIS ALBERT
Feelings, nothing more than feelings,
Trying to forget my feelings of love.
Teardrops rolling down on my face,
Trying to forget my feelings of love.
Feelings, for all my life I'll feel it.
I wish I've never met you, girl;
You'll Never Come Again.
Feelings, wo-o-o feelings,
Wo-o-o, feel you again in my arms.
Feelings, feelings like I've never lost you
And feelings like i've never have you
Again in my heart.
Feelings, for all my life I'll feel it.
I wish I've never met you, girl;
You'll never come again.
Feelings, feelings like I've never lost you
And feelings like i've never have you
Again in my life.
Feelings, wo-o-o feelings,
Wo-o-o, feelings again in my arms.
Feelings...
