Star Jones Reynolds has allegedly threatened legal action against anyone that is spreading the false rumor that her marriage is kaput.

Sources say that the marriage between Star and hubby Al Reynolds is over after only 21 months and that she is brokenhearted. A source said, "Reality has finally caught up with them. She’s heartbroken over the turn of events. She really wanted it to work, and she thought it might work, but in the end, it just wasn’t going to happen." Another source reportedly said, "Star has resigned herself to the fact that they’re not going to spend the rest of their lives together."
Star’s camp has vehemently denied the rumors. Star’s publicist issued a statement on her behalf that read, "These categorically false stories and their continuation are clearly being generated by someone for vindictive reasons alone." The statement also said that "legal representatives have been investigating the source and motivation of these boldfaced lies for some time now and are very close to exposing the individual who has perpetrated them." The statement also promises that "appropriate legal action will be taken" against those who are spreading the lies.
Jones married Al Reynolds, 36, in an extremely over the top wedding in 2004. Jones caught a lot of flak for "soliciting freebies" and for her "on-air plugs" on The View. Jones tamed down her "plugs" after reportedly receiving a "talking to" by the powers that be at ABC. Star said of her wedding, "Every single wedding fantasy I ever had was fulfilled, down to the most handsome groom in the history of the world." Um, ok, Star…lets not go overboard!
