A loneliness surrounded me
And sadness filled the air,
Hollowness in my heart
Alone, no-one to care.
In the midst of darkness
A vision I did see,
Arms opened out wide
Reaching out to cuddle me.
I could feel the warmth
A comfort so sincere,
I could feel the love
From someone so near.
The choice was quite simple
Once I opened up my eyes,
At once I knew it was you.
The special person
Who my hearts cries.
