Jennifer Aniston Finally Speaks

Jennifer Aniston finally speaks about her painful break-up with Brad Pitt in a candid interview with Vanity Fair set to hit stands on August 9.

Aniston claims she was "shocked" by the way the Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie drama has played out, saying she would be a "robot" if she didn’t "feel moments of anger, of hurt, of embarrassment" over seeing pictures of Pitt, Jolie, and her son Maddox cavorting on an African beach. Aniston says she is "struggling to cope," but has been in therapy for the past few months. She said, "Am I lonely? Yes. Am I upset? Yes. Am I confused? Yes. Do I have days when I’ve thrown a little pity party for myself? Absolutely. But I’m also doing really well."

The couple separated after seven years together in January amid numerous rumors, most of which involved Jolie. They were the same rumors that Pitt and Jolie have categorically denied. Aniston filed for divorce in March and Pitt and Jolie have been relatively inseparable since. Aniston claims to give her ex the benefit of the doubt when asked if she believed his claims that he did not hook up with Jolie before he and Aniston called it quits. Said Aniston, "I choose to believe my husband. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised by anything, but I would much rather choose to believe him."

When asked about the 60-page W spread where Pitt and Jolie were featured as bored suburban parents, Aniston admitted to not being a fan. She said of Pitt, "There’s a sensitivity chip that’s missing [in him]. I can …imagine Brad having absolutely no clue why people would be appalled by it." But then she says that Pitt is "not mean-spirited; he would never intentionally try to rub something in her face." Word on the street is that Pitt and Jolie are shacking up at his Malibu mansion with her two kids Maddox and Zahara. That doesn’t seem at all like he is "rubbing something in her face," now does it? Aniston claims to still love the Troy actor. Said Aniston, "I love Brad. I will love him for the rest of my life. I really do hope that someday we can be friends again."
