A Cutter’s Remorse
The title describes this poem…
Blood dripping
Like a stream from my wrist
I try to blot up the blood
But it seems to just keep coming
I didn’t think I cut to deep
But I guess I was terribly wrong
I started to get dizzy
I don’t know why
It feels like I’m wondering
Through a deep, dark tunnel
I try to walk away from the light
But it feels like I’m being pulled there
Good bye mom
Good bye dad
I wish I didn’t choose
This horrible fate
Like a stream from my wrist
I try to blot up the blood
But it seems to just keep coming
I didn’t think I cut to deep
But I guess I was terribly wrong
I started to get dizzy
I don’t know why
It feels like I’m wondering
Through a deep, dark tunnel
I try to walk away from the light
But it feels like I’m being pulled there
Good bye mom
Good bye dad
I wish I didn’t choose
This horrible fate
