Ladies...Can You Really Have It All? You Darn Right You Can!
So why is it that some people make a big deal over the fact that a Woman wants A Family, A Career, A Social Life, and to be Happy with it all? Is it such a crime against the world for a Woman to be Happy with a Family, while at the same time, having a thriving Career?
Recently I read an article written by a man that said in so many words " Don’t marry an ambitious Woman with a career, because her career will always come first." That article seemed to imply that all Women who are passionate and happy about their work, can’t be happy in a relationship too. Women are always subjected to all kinds of ridiculous criticisms that most of the time, has no merit. The real problem for many men is this..... Women are very strong and powerful individuals. We can handle both the stressors caused by our Careers and our Families, and we still have time and strength to nurture other areas of our lives, without the least bit of worry....and if we are, you’ll never be able to tell. Women are and will forever be constant threats to the many men who can only function with incompetent, kiss-ass people around them.
Most of the tasks that Women perform day-in and day-out, are things that we really don’t want to do, but we get them done because we have to...otherwise the tasks will be left undone. Many of us cook breakfast every morning, get the kids ready for school, choose the right tie for the husbands, get ourselves ready for work, get the kids lunch prepared and get them off to school, make sure the husband has his lunch, put our makeup on in the car while on the way to work, deal with the kids behavior at school and their teachers, attend the School’s PTA Meeting, get home from work, cook dinner, clean the house, ask about everybody’s day, stop the kids from fighting, and you haven’t even sat down yet to enjoy a quiet two minutes for yourself, only to wake-up and start this entire process all over the next day. Out of all of that, Did anyone ask You about Your Day? Did anyone tell You that they appreciated all that You do? Did the husband say "I Love You" today? Did the kids say "Thank You Mom?" Has anyone Volunteered to rub Your feet, clean the house this time, wash the dishes, get Your lunch ready for work, and cook You dinner at the end of Your day today? Did Your boss praise You for Your hard work? Did anyone say today "Without You, Where In This World Would We Be?"
But they say "A Woman Can’t Have It All.....But She Sure Can Do It All!" Now What?
