The Apprentice: Martha Stewart

Martha Stewart is wasting no time capitalizing on her upcoming return to society, starring in two new shows, including The Apprentice: Martha Stewart.

As she prepares to be released from her house arrest sentence on August 31st, Martha Stewart is already making waves in the entertainment industry. Mark Burnett, producer and reality TV mastermind, is overseeing both of Stewart's upcoming shows, which include Martha and The Apprentice: Martha Stewart. Both shows are almost guaranteed to be ratings winners considering the hype that has surrounded everybody's favorite homemaker since her arrest and conviction in March 2004 of lying to investigators about the sale of her ImClone stock.

Martha debuts September 12th and will feature celebrity guests as well as tips on cooking, entertaining, decorating and home renovating. Does that sound familiar? In an upcoming interview with Lara Spencer, Martha expounded on how she would celebrate her complete freedom. "Well, I think at the last minute my ankle bracelet will be cut off and that's celebration enough," she said happily.

The details of The Apprentice: Martha Stewart have not yet been released, but NBC has started airing promos and you have to assume that the format will be pretty similar to Trump's mega-successful version. Any way you slice it (or puree it), Martha Stewart seems to be stepping right back in where she left off -- at the top.
