Macy and Lohan will appear together in a scene of the Emilio Estevez directed film Bobby. While out promoting his new movie Everyone’s Hero he spoke out about Lohan’s behavior saying, "You can’t show up late. It’s very, very disrespectful." Macy did say that Lohan was a "huge talent," but when asked about her behavior on the set of Bobby said she was "pretty late."
Macy said, "I think what an actor has to realize (is that) when you show up an hour late, 150 people have been scrambling to cover for you. There is not an apology big enough in the world to have to make 150 people scramble." He went on to say, "It’s nothing but disrespect. And Lindsay Lohan is not the only one. A lot of actors show up late as if they’re God’s gift to the film. It’s inexcusable, and they should have their asses kicked." Macy also said, "I worry about these kids. 15, 18, 20 years old – who in the span of one year become millionaires and powerhouses. It’s too much power for a kid that age to handle."
Macy’s criticism comes on the heels of a controversial letter sent to Lohan by James G. Robinson, the CEO of Morgan Creek Productions, which is producing Lohan’s latest film Georgia Rules which also happens to co-star Macy’s wife Felicity Huffman. In his letter, Robinson blasted Lohan’s "ongoing all night heavy partying," called her behavior "discourteous, irresponsible and unprofessional," and said she was acting like a "spoiled brat."
