Boxing: Khan Opponent Threatens Surprise

Amir Khan's next opponent, Ryan Barrett, is talking tough ahead of their fight.
Amir Khan's ninth fight of his undefeated professional career will be against Ryan Barrett at the Bolton Arena on Saturday week.

Khan, 19, will have huge home-town support, on a bill where Clinton Woods is the headline act when he defends his IBF world light-heavyweight title against Glencoffe Johnson of Jamaica, but Barrett is threatening an upset.

The 23-year-old, who has 12 wins, two defeats and a draw, has never been stopped and said: "Khan is in for the worst night of his life.

"The odds are stacked against me, but I intend to win. I'm not there to make him look good in front of the TV viewers and his fans."
