You...about suicide...

You made my life hell,
You made me think twice,
You saw me as I fell,
Before I picked up the knife.

You tried to own me,
You tried to change me,
You tried to hurt me,
You tried to kill me.

You watch me all the time,
You never leave me alone,
I can’t think,
When you stare down at me.

You made me worry,
You made me cry,
You made me hide,
You made me die.

I’ve seen the way you affect others,
That’s not the same way you affect me,
I know you can make it better for me,
Can you please try to help?

You can change me,
You can heal me,
You can hold me,
You can save me.

I bring the knife to my throat,
Push the cold blade against my skin,
You could save me here,
But you watch in silence as you always did.

You watch me cry,
You watch me make the cut,
You watch me fall,
You watch me die.

You are my best friend,
As I hold on to you tight,
I feel you slipping away,
My friend. My fate. My life.
