"Passangers boarding Indian Airlines IC ... are requested to idendify their registered baggage and then only proceed to the aircraft"... the announcement was loud.

Yatris looked at each other as if to confirm that all was well. Someone from the group shouted " Ramachandran... your baggage has not been identified. Please go and identify, otherwise they will not send it to the plane"

Inside the flight, the crew announced that the flight was about to take off and that Kathmandu would be reached in an hour and twenty minutes.

All eyes went to their wrist watches and the time was 3.15 PM. But the flight would take off only after another hour as the crew and engineers attended to a technical snag.

It was all drama and anxious moments thereafter for nearly 3 and half hours when at around 6.40 Pm the plane touched Kathmandu airport. After clearing Customs and immigration the Yatris were received by a team from Eco Trek International Pvt Ltd. The team from Eco Trek would make the Yatra a memorable journey.

All yatris boarded the bus to proceed to Pasupathinath temple directly from the airport.

It was raining and quite heavily when the bus reached Pasupathinath. Cleansing all impurities & Fully drenched the Yatris were treated to a Darshan of Pasupathinath during the evening Aarthi.

A wonderful beginning to the experiences to follow.

To be continued.
