Christie Brinkley’s Meeting with Ex

Brinkley and daughter Alexa Rae Joel arrived at the Hampton’s house Brinkley and Cook shared until last month. Cook was there with his parents in tow. They met at the house for about 15-minutes and then all parties retreated to another location. Within an hour Brinkley and Joel returned to the house. She had already told the press, "I don’t want to comment. I just don’t want to fuel this any further." Upon returning to the house, Brinkley gave the photogs waiting outside a box of ice pops with a note that read, "Here, this is a little gift for you. I want you to take this. It’s very, very hot out."

Brinkley announced the separation July 12 but did not give a reason for the split. Just one week later 19-year old Diana Bianchi came forward to say that she allegedly had a year long affair with Cook. She was also threatening to possibly pursue a sexual-harassment suit against the architect. Bianchi says that she met cook while she was just 17 and he gave her a job as his personal assistant. She claims that the architect seduced her into a romantic affair with gifts and money. Just days later pop singer Samantha Cole came forward and said she had been seduced by Cook a decade before when she was just 18 and he had yet become Mr. Christie Brinkley

Cook issued a public apology to Brinkley and came clean about the affair and making it well known that he wants to reconcile with Brinkley. He said, "This is an aberration. I’m sorry. I’m contrite. I’m stupid. Foolish. No excuse." Brinkley’s camp has remained pretty quiet on the subject. After she announced the separation, she took the couple’s two children Sailor Lee, 8, and Jack, 11, to go stay with her parents in the hopes that they could avoid the media frenzy. Jack is Brinkley’s son with third husband Richard Taubman. Cook adopted Jack when he wed Brinkley in 1996.
