Anchor of Eternity

Unable to succeed…
I feel the anchor of eternity
Pulling me deeper and deeper down
The chain wrapped so tight
Around my neck
My waist
My hands and feet
Deeper and deeper I fall
The more I struggle the faster I sink
I’m sinking to the bottom ever so slow
The more I struggle the faster I sink
I can feel the world on my shoulders
Like an anchor of eternity
The harder I fight the more it hurts
The chain wrapped so tight
Around my neck
My waist
My hands and feet
Deeper and deeper I fall
I feel the anchor of eternity
I’m holding the weight of the world on my shoulders
The more I struggle the faster I sink
Into my future
The harder I try
The faster I fail
