Matt LeBlanc has gone on record publicly apologizing to his family after a "close encounter" with a "sexually aggressive" stripper. Seems that some one has a guilty conscience or is just trying to do damage control after a raunchy night spent at a British Columbia strip club. LeBlanc and friends stopped off at a strip club during a motorcycle trip. LeBlanc reportedly had too much to drink and had an encounter with the aggressive "exotic dancer." In an interview, LeBlanc said, "The stripper was all over me. I acted like a fool in allowing myself to be led astray and place in such a horrible situation and I feel ashamed."
Tsk…tsk…LeBlanc also said, "I’m a guy who walked into a strip club, had too much to drink, got carried away with a dancer for a mad moment, and am now paying the price of allowing myself to be lured into that position." He claims he was "led astray" by the dancer and believes he was set up because of his celebrity. LeBlanc admits he was "careless and irresponsible" and that "it is not where a family man should be." He said, "I could not wait to get home. The guys said a trap had been set for me and I fell right in it, and that’s why I feel stupid and careless now."
It is nice that he apologized to his wife, but the fact that it was done publicly must mean there is some motivation behind it. Could it be he is scared that the "exotic dancer" may be speaking with the tabloids so he must get it out there first? Maybe it is just to stir up some publicity for his ever waning show Joey. Whatever the case, surely his wife Melissa can’t be too happy about his drunken antics, no matter how sorry he is…
