Aniston has spoken out to People magazine and said, "I’m not engaged and I don’t have a ring." She also calls the story "insane." Earlier this month it was reported that beau Vaughn got down on one knee aboard a private plane during a return trip from Mexico in late June and popped the big question. Aniston said, "It’s so funny. With Vince, it’s like the joke we had. I said, ‘Okay, so you’re on a romantic location. You’ve got the beach, you’ve got the sunset, but no, no, you’re going to wait for an airplane ride. First of all, are you going to try and curb my fear of flying? Are you trying to trap me on a place?"

Aniston claims she chose to talk about the rumors now because the news outlets had started reporting their engagement. Aniston said, "Tabloids are going to lie all the time. You’re prepared for that. It’s the news. And you think, ‘Well, we need to trust what our newscasters are saying when we have this horrific situation that’s actually taking place in the world. I mean, we are getting reported the truth, right?’" When asked about the status of her relationship with Vaughn, Aniston said, "We’re just being. We’re having a good time."

Now it is being reported that the couple was engaged, but Vaughn called it off! Rumor has it that the two have been having a rocky time lately and Vaughn was allegedly seen drinking and partying with friends in Las Vegas over the weekend. While he was out cavorting with the guys and reportedly flirting with every female he came in contact with, Aniston supposedly spent a miserable weekend alone at her home in Malibu. Who knows what is really going on?! But chances are, even if they are really engaged, the marriage wouldn’t last long…
