Kate Hudson & Owen Wilson an Item?

Hot on the heels of the break-up announcement it has been reported that Hudson has fallen for her You, Me and Dupree co-star. A source close to Hudson said, "This is not a fling. Kate is crazy about him. Owen gives her so much attention, and she loves it. [That’s] why she wants her marriage to be over." Hudson’s camp has remained mum on the subject, but Wilson’s rep said in a statement, "[Anything] that suggests that the separation of Ms. Hudson was caused by Mr. Wilson is absolutely false."

It has been reported that during filming Hudson and Wilson were "just friends." The romance is said to have blossomed while they were promoting the film around the world. Their "affair" allegedly began in June. A source close to Wilson said that he is "falling for her" and that while they were touring around the world working the press junket they "often shared hotel rooms." Hudson has also reportedly been a frequent overnight guest at Wilson’s Santa Monica pad recently.

Hudson’s rep announced Monday that the couple was separating after nearly six years of marriage and one child. Their son Ryder Russell is 2. No official reason was given for the split, but now the rumors are circulating. Hudson and Robinson met in May 2000 and within days were living together. They were married in a New Year’s Eve ceremony in Aspen on December 31, 2004. Just within the last year it has been rumored that their marriage was on the rocks, a rumor that Hudson and Robinson denied vehemently. Guess they are just following the standard Hollywood formula…deny, deny, deny right up until the time you announce the split!
