Guess if you can’t get anyone to release your album you just have to create your own label, huh? Federline announced that he is launching Federation Records and will be releasing his debut album Playing With Fire in October. The "America’s Most Hated" rapper will also launch his own website on September 5. The website will include sample tracks and information from his MySpace page. Federline currently has 65,484 friends in his My Space account.

Federline is also set to make his debut on television by closing the 2006 Teen Choice Awards with his first single off his new album, "Lose Control." The show is set to air on August 20 and is being hosted by Jessica Simpson and Dane Cook. The song will make its radio debut the day after the awards show airs. There is a lot of anticipation to see if Federline has any talent whatsoever. Hopefully his song "Lose Control" is a step or two up from his initial effort "PopoZao" which Feddy boy released on his MySpace page. The song got a ton of hits and a lot of negative reviews. Federline now claims the song was released as a joke and a way of getting the media’s attention and to get a lot of traffic to his MySpace page. Well, if that was the case he got his wish.

Not only is Federline actively pursuing his music career, he has also recently been signed as the "new face" of Five Star Vintage Clothing Company. That is just funny that a guy best known for his cornrows and wife beaters is now the face of a clothing company. He has reportedly been cleaning up his act, or appearance, lately. There have been reports that his marriage to Spears is now on the up and up after months of talk that they were on the verge of divorce. It has even been reported that they are "so incredibly happy" that they are talking about renewing their wedding vows after the birth of baby #2. Son Sean Preston will turn one next month.
