Suri Cruise’s Debut?

It has been 100 plus days since Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes welcomed their daughter, Suri, and she has yet to make her public debut. Now it has been reported that Vanity Fair magazine has been the first to gain access to the newborn’s pictures. It has been rumored that famed photographer Annie Leibovitz has already photographed the little one for a spread in the mag, although no one has been able to get a definite answer on the subject. A rep for Cruise said, "We cannot comment on where photos might be released at this time." Vanity Fair has maintained that the magazine will not "comment on rumors or possible future issues."

The fact that Suri has yet to be revealed has sparked a lot of interest in the baby and her famous parents. A website – WhereIsSur.com - was born and US Magazine has a running clock counting the days since Suri’s birth. Her absence from the tabloid covers has even prompted rumors that the baby doesn’t even exist! Once those rumors started circling, a number of Cruise and Holmes friends have come forward to say that they have actually met Suri.

Leah Remini, of The King of Queens was the first to come forward saying that’s he had met the little one. Steven Spielberg, Penelope Cruz and Mr. and Mrs. Smith (Will and Jada Pinkett) have all also claimed to have met Suri. As for the fact that Cruise and Holmes have yet to reveal their little bundle of Joy, they are certainly enjoying all the media attention that has evolved from her absence. Janice Min, US Weekly magazine editor said, "Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes get on the covers of magazines because they haven’t shown their baby. So who’s really getting played here? We’re just pawns." Suri’s alleged magazine spread is reportedly set for a fall release.
