Carmen Electra Files Divorce Papers

Electra, real name Tara Patrick, filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. Electra has reportedly asked that their assets be divvied up per their pre-nuptial agreement and that neither party receives spousal support. The union did not produce any children. After months of speculation and denials Electra, 34, and Navarro, 39, announced they were "amicably separating" in mid-July.

Sources say that the couple, who claims to remain best friends, split due to their hectic work schedules and the fact that they rarely saw each other. Navarro is currently hosting Rock Star: Supernova and also does double duty as guitarist for the band Camp Freddy. Electra has been working on her film career and is currently filming the new film I Want Candy.

Shortly after they split it was rumored that Electra was dating Academy Award winning actor Jamie Foxx. Her camp slammed the reports claiming that they are "just friends." It was also reportedly that Navarro was having an affair with heiress Sarah Howard before it was announced that his marriage was over. He took time out of his busy schedule to deny the rumors and claim that he still loves Electra very much. Recently it has been reported that he is now dating adult film actress Jenna Jameson who is currently separated from her husband of eight years, Jay Grdina. It was even reported that Jameson was looking to buy a home in the Hollywood Hills to be closer to her new beau, Navarro.
