Ironing

Just something that came to my mind while ironing fatigues.
Up in the morning, long before the light.
What happened to the night?
Clear your mind of negative thoughts.

Touch the uniform as you press,
Who will see it, none can guess.
Clear your mind of negative thoughts.

Wipe the sweat from off your brow,
Remember why you do this now.
Clear your mind of negative thought.

The one you married long ago
Must look just right you know.
