Breaking news - Britney Spears, 21, is not a virgin, for those of you who did not know. She has confirmed the fact that she lost her virginity shortly after turning 18 to then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake. Spears insists she has only been with Timberlake despite rumors of sexual relations with a number of others, including Timberlake’s friend, choreographer Wade Robeson, actor Colin Farrell, and Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst.

Pop’s tart says, "I’ve only slept with one person my whole life." Spears readily admits that her managers created her "squeaky-clean" image so she appealed to the teenybopper audience. She says she doesn’t want a "serious" relationship at the moment and enjoys "playing the field." In an interview, Spears says, "I haven’t had a boy in a really long time and I’m craving. Just a kiss, man. Just a kiss would be nice." What’s so bad about that?

It seems Miss Spears knows how to keep her name in the media. She has certainly shed her good girl image since she first hit the pop scene. Did anyone really buy the sweet and innocent routine? Britney had a rough time with her break-up with Timberlake, her parents divorce, lagging album sales, and a restaurant mishap. Despite taking a hiatus from her career, she has managed to keep a high profile with her reported romances, admitted drug use, and now the confirmation of the loss of her virginity.
