Whose There?
This poem is based on feelings of a teen who feels that there are so many people around but yet she feels alone and unwanted.
When I feel lonely I can't seem to find any comfort, and when no one constantly came I began to wonder.
Where were those who said they loved me?
Where were those who promised to stay by my side?
Thinking that they cared I fell into the traps of family lies.
I find myself often just sitting there, waiting for someone to knock on the marked door, only I'll be too excited to even care about whose there, and to open the door and find those who have came to comfort me has disappeared.
There's no way out, I just can't win, what's the point of living?
I ask myself
Until I turn around and see a gun appear up on the shelf.
Is this my only way out?
I somehow end up in the mist of the mirror holding the gun up to my head, still nothing gets clearer.
I cried until I couldn't cry no more, then finally I heard a knock at the door, I say it's too late and start to pull the trigger, Until God comes in and says I'm Here.
