We'll always have The Memories

Just a poem inspired by an e~mail about how memories will always exist, even if everything else doesn't!
When everything else falls apart,
We'll still have the memories,
Of golden days and dancing nights,
And all the times you made me smile,

When all these days have gone away,
They'll still be in my memory,
Reminding me there's been better times,
Back when you were at my side,

Nothing like your kiss to let me know,
That no matter what happens with it all,
I'll still have the still images of you,
Hidden in the back of my mind in colder times,

It all comes to a crushing halt,
But no weight can crush the memories,
Of being next to you on golden days,
And dancing nights spent with my love...
