Rumor has it that Vaughn surprised Aniston while the two were vacationing in Paris recently. It has been reported that Vaughn popped the question while they were on a promotional tour for their new movie The Break Up. Aniston has allegedly asked her former sister-in-law Julie and former mother-in-law, Jane, to the wedding. No date has been set yet, but Aniston has reportedly said she prefers that it happen "sooner rather than later."

Vaughn and Aniston met on the set of The Break-Up shortly after her very own "break-up." Aniston and her then husband Brad Pitt announced their separation in March 2005 after almost 5-years of marriage. The golden couple, as they were once known, split amid rumors of his infidelity and her desire to put having children behind her career. It was reported that Pitt had had an affair with his Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie. Jolie vehemently denied the rumors and says she and Pitt were only friends while he was still married. Pitt has since adopted Jolie’s two oldest children, Maddox and Zahara, and the two recently welcomed their own little peach pit, Shiloh.

Aniston was said to be devastated by the break-up and Vaughn was there to lend a shoulder to cry on. The two reportedly hit it off and fell in love. Some friends of Aniston’s feared that her romance with Vaughn was just a rebound, but the two are allegedly really in love. It has also been reported that Vaughn has begun the Zone diet to get in shape to his upcoming nuptials. He allegedly wants to look his best for their wedding and Aniston has reportedly asked BFF Courteney Cox to be her matron of honor. Neither Vaughn nor Aniston’s camp has released an official statement stating that the two are set to tie the knot.
