It's Finally Over for Tara Reid and Carson Daly
After months of speculation following their wedding postponement, Tara Reid and Carson Daly have finally announced that they have split.
The writing seems to have been on the wall for quite some time now. Most people don't postpone a wedding for unspecified reasons unless there are some problems in the relationship. Of course, publicists for Tara and Carson would try to have us believe otherwise, but the relationship was probably beyond the point of no return way back then. Alas, we may never know the dirty details, but everyone now seems ready to confirm that the two are no longer an item.
The announcement comes only a couple weeks after rumors surfaced that Carson may have been unfaithful while the two were working on opposite coasts. The host of MTV's Total Request Live allegedly flew to L.A. in mid-June to address that issue with Tara and it seemed that things had steadied temporarily. But, it didn't take long for the Josie and the Pussycats' cutie to step up and make the split final. "When something's not right, it's not right," said Tara. "I did everything I could to make the relationship work, and it didn't."
In a recent interview with Mitchell Fink of the New York Daily News, Tara seemed upbeat and ready to get back to single life. "I'm going to spend most of the summer in the Hamptons and maybe go to Europe with friends," Reid said. "And mostly, I want to enjoy life." It's fairly safe to assume that the sought-after hottie will move easily into the singles scene. Carson's will probably not be the last heart left in her wake.
