Lindsay Lohan’s Mom Speaks Out

Dina Lohan has spoken out in defense of her daughter Lindsay following a letter she received calling her unprofessional.

It was reported last week that Lindsay had received a letter from studio executive and CEO James G. Robinson of Morgan Creek Productions, the company backing her new movie Georgia Rule. The letter stated that the actress was acting like a "spoiled child" and threatened legal action for holding up production on the film. Allegedly, La Lohan has appeared on the set late and called in sick numerous times. The latest incident occurred when Lohan called out because she went to the hospital for being "overheated and dehydrated."

In the letter Robinson wrote, "We are well aware that your ongoing all-night partying is the real reason for your so-called ‘exhaustion.’" Now Mommy Lohan is striking back and has called the letter "way out of line." Said Dina Lohan, "My daughter is a wonderful child. This is too much." She appears in an interview with Access Hollywood set to air Monday and says, "Maybe he has personal issues with whomever, and it came out with my child. I don’t know him. I can’t judge him. I don’t think it was a smart thing to do to a young girl."

Dina goes on to defend Lindsay’s trip to the hospital saying, "On the set it was 105 degrees. And she has bronchial asthma – so any extreme heat or cold, she can’t breathe." Hmmm…seems like the smoking couldn’t really be of much help with the either, huh, Lindsay? The younger Lohan was spotted partying the night before she called out of work and was seen partying it up mere hours after leaving the hospital. Maybe that is why Jimmy G is so upset! He has changed his tune since LiLo showed up on set on time and without complaint. Robinson said Friday, "I’ve never had a minute’s trouble with her. She’s every inch a lady. I felt I needed to remind her of her obligations to show up." Momma Lohan claimed her daughter would get "justice" because she "will win an Academy Award for this picture."
