Cruise Cruisin’?

Despite recent reports of a break-up, Tom Cruise and long-time love Penelope Cruz have done their best to make sure people know that they are indeed a couple. The question remains, is it real or is it a farce? There has been much speculation that Cruise is in fact gay, and we’re not talking happy. He has sued almost everyone who has even hinted that this might be true. His almost ten-year marriage to actress Nicole Kidman ended in December 2000 amid much contemplation as to why. Cruise began dating Penelope Cruz in the summer of 2001 and the two have been a "couple" ever since.

Now there are reports that Penelope has been pleading with the top gun to walk down the aisle again. Cruise refuses. He has said that he can’t face the "emotional toll" another marriage would take on him and his kids. Maybe he just doesn’t want to marry Cruz. There was some question as to her faithfulness in the relationship. This is a rumor she has hotly denied and demanded an apology for. This should be a familiar position for Tom, since his first marriage ended amid rumors of Nicole Kidman’s infidelity.

Is Cruise’s refusal to marry Cruz a sign that their good times may be coming to an end? There have been many rumors that Cruise has been seeing his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman. Since Cruise and Kidman split, the Academy Award winning actress has been romantically linked to almost every man in Hollywood. Maybe Cruise has forgiven his ex and wants the family reunited or maybe he just really doesn’t want to remarry. Whatever the case may be, it doesn’t seem likely that Penelope will be changing her name to Cruise-Cruz anytime soon.
