Lohan received a letter from the CEO of Morgan Creek Productions, the company backing her new movie Georgia Rule. In his letter, James G. Robinson, called Lohan "irresponsible and unprofessional." The letter was hand-delivered to the hotel where the actress lives, emailed, cc' to her mother Dina, her agent, and her publicist. It was confirmed by a spokesperson for Morgan Creek Productions that the letter was authentic, but they reportedly refused to comment further on the subject.
In the letter, Robinson calls Lohan on the carpet for her tardiness and absences from the set. Writes Robinson, "You and your representatives have told us that your various late arrivals and absences from the set have been the result of illness; today we were told it was ‘heat exhaustion.’ We are well aware that your ongoing all night heavy partying is the real reason for your so-called ‘exhaustion.’ We refuse to accept bogus excuses for your behavior." Ouch! He goes on to say Lohan is acting like a "spoiled child" and calls her behavior "discourteous, irresponsible, and unprofessional."
Robinson ends his letter letting La Lohan know that if she continues to disrupt the set and production of the movie she will be held "personally accountable." The letter states, "This means that in addition to pursuing full monetary damages, we will take such other action as we deem necessary to preserve the integrity of the Georgia Rule Production as well as Morgan Creek’s financial interest. Seems like the message sunk in…a source on the set of the movie reported that Lohan reported to the set on time the day after receiving the letter. Said the source, "We’re hoping she remains on schedule for the rest of the production." There has been no official comment from Lohan’s camp.
